Summerside introduces itself in July through the Lobster Carnival, then doubles down with Raceway Days at Credit Union Place and Red Shores at Summerside Raceway. Harness racing is not a side note here; city releases mark a century and a half of racing heritage and still crowning Raceway Days with the Governor’s Plate.
